“DayZeroWater is a Dutch nonprofit organisation
developing tailored and sustainable water and sanitation solutions
for communities, hospitals and schools in developing countries.”

Our mission is to ensure safe water and sanitation for communities, hospitals and schools in developing countries.

How do we do it?
We collaborate with governments, universities, technical partners and local organisations to transform complex water challenges into practical, research-informed solutions.

By combining applied research, local knowledge and institutional cooperation, we develop tailored solutions that improve public health, protect communities and strengthen long-term resilience.

 Our Approach

We develop integrated and tailored solutions for water risk management, reliable water and sanitation systems for hospitals and schools, and sustainable urban and community water planning.

Through applied academic research, international cooperation and local capacity building, we support governments and communities in turning technical knowledge into practical pathways for implementation

TU Delft is DayZeroWater’s strategic academic partner. Its Water Management Department has developed applied research and sustainable water pathways for hospitals and schools in Venezuela, combining academic expertise with local knowledge to address complex water challenges.

United Nations Accreditation

DayZeroWater has been granted Special Consultative Status by UN ECOSOC and holds Dutch ANBI status. We contribute technical expertise to global water policy and sustainable water solutions.
